I've spent the last few days searching for a driver to power aCREE CXA2530.

I will be using it on my vehicle, which supplies 12Vac. The LED requires 36Vdc to operate. The drivers that I find say, for example,

Input- AC85 - 265V
Output- 36V

In my case, I need

Input- 12Vac
Output- 36Vdc

I have found no driver with these specs. I am wondering if I am missing something. Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to this board. What application will you be using the CXA2530 in? Interior lighting, underhood lighting, road (forward) lighting, something else?

:welcome:

I'm a little confused-- the title is "LED driver for automotive headlights". We'd even asked:

The thread title, and your selection of an LED with light output range of 3000-5700lm, suggests forward lighting. Homemade headlamps are illegal; Rule 11 of this board is clear that this thread ends now.
