I noticed that on forums and youtube there's this "vn" term next to the flash light brand and model.
What does it stand for and why it doesn't appear on the manufacturer website?

That's the initials of the CPF flashlight modifier Vinh Nguyen.

After the light is modified it gets the VN attributed to it. For example. The Fenix TK75 after being modded by Vinh Nguyen becomes the TK75VN.

You can find his lights in the modded lights subforum here at CPF.

I though from the 100k lumen mule he built VN stood for Vanquish (the) Night!

Vinh Nguyen. He has a sub-forum in the modders section at CPF and an online retail called Skylumen.com . I'm pretty sure he's an authorized dealer for a few major brands. However he modifies the light for brighter, more throw, better tint, better driver etc. His price for modified lights can be anywhere from right at the same as everyone's retail price to vastly more expensive, depending on the particular modification.

What does "vn" stand for?

Constant innovation, the highest quality products, and excellent customer service.

And lights that will burn holes in your retina and holes in your wallet.

(Actually that's not quite fair--some of his lights are very reasonably priced. But people who catch the "vn" bug often purchase a lot of them!)
