Alright! some love inspired work from the mighty Vinh! I have a feeling that his "tension"(from not having his lady close by) might lead to some big breakthroughs in the Sky Lumen realm!
Go man Go!

I'll be interested to know the numbers on this MX25L4Cvn50.2 + DriverVNX2 + 4*XHP50.2 6500K HD. Also the 5500K SD version for w21.

You may test those two lights not... As far as Thrunite uses some alien technology most likely. Pay attention to the throw number :D Reminds me WW2 anti-aircraft searchlights...

What are the advantages of using this led vs Xhp70?

The XHP50 is a smaller emitter with greater surface brightness- so it throws better.
This new 2nd generation XHP50 gets a bump in output and is why everyone is excited.

I'm sure the 2nd gen 70 will be cool too.

Re: XHP50.2 WOW

Would this work in the MK35?

i know you've not said anything about modding that light yet, but I live in hope, I have one of your U21's and I love the manker build, combined with your mod and QC, and a MK35vn would pretty much complete my collection..

...for now.

All TK47vn and other XHP50 lights will now received XHP50.2. Expect noticeably more lumen and throw!

I believe the dies are closer in together too? Is the entire dome now the yellow phosphor instead of clear? If that were the case then dedoming would result in a very blue light.

Re: XHP50.2 WOW

looking at crees website, am i only seeing another 100 or so lumens over the old xhp50?

Vinh said it was noticeable so that's good enough for me.

That's not good. Unless it's cerakote blue then that's ok.
