Dixon Saracen. That's the car. (Told you it was a bloody Saracen). Google it. Looks like a Caterham 7 as suggested.

Ok, I'll believe you! For reference, the service I was talking about is MyUS.com Not only do you get the benefit of fast postage and no separate import fees (if you use the FedEx Priority option) but by combining everything into one box you save quite a bit on the shipping! And, as MyUS is based in Florida, when you put in their address it means you don't get charged sales tax at all. Only used them the once, but so far would recommend them.

And in terms of Streamlights, BrightGuy appears to be the best supplier I've come across. Did the Stinger DS LED HL I had tonight for $130ish.

Well, I just got back to Sunny Milton Keynes - took a bit longer as the M25 was shut and I had to detour.

Thank you Jay and Alex for the information about the Saracen and the Mail service.

Great night chaps. Lovely to see all the familiar faces and meet Alex for the first time.

Brooklands is a wonderful place, and I particularly enjoyed seeing the Stratosphere Chamber.

Too knackered for piccies now so tomorrow it is.

    Nighty night.

Brooklands, Brooklands, Brooklands, just what is Brooklands?

    A place with cars...

    ...and planes with plane parts...

    ...and torches!

    And CPFers, too.

Highlight of the Museum for me.

    Light it up, Jay!

This really is a major feat of engineering and ingenuity. Capable of subjecting the test planes to low pressure, wind, ice, snow and rain - all without leaving the ground!

Shock-horror as CPFer tries to pocket an Earthquake Tall Boy Bomb!

This was an outstanding fun evening, chaps. Great to see our friendly crowd playing with the tools we love the most (Torches!). Brook lands made us very welcome and we stayed in the car park chatting long after others had left.

Throw Kings were demonstrably still the Thrunite TN42 (Jay and I), but there was a good assortment of small EDC types used throughout the evening.

The 'Muggle' torches that everyone else brought for the night are getting stronger and better, many Chinese bright LED lights were in evidence.

Also a hearty "well done" the Count Dracula, who kept us entertained with a virtuoso performance on his Saxophone through the dinner (No fangs though).

There are more Torchlit tours here over the next few months - anyone for another go?

Thanks Lee. Didn't take more than a couple of pics myself.

Went to Longleat for their Santa Train (for my son) and their Festival of Light. Was a bunch of fairytale stuff spread around and lit up from inside. Looked quite good.

Well, was going to put some pics up but Photobucket decided they want to charge from now on...

Edit.... Lee, I took a page from your book and signed up with Flickr

I clearly missed out on an excellent night of good company and torches.

Perhaps one of those other torch-lit tours would be good.

Out of interest, how was the food at this one?

Pretty much the same as the last one, a bit School Dinner'ish. I'm up for any other tour.
