Oops, I was going for texture. Photo above re-edited for brightness.

The finish above is lighter than Patina. I'll get a family shot after insider 64!

Above is 7075. No ti has or will exist until we complete our thermal review

We only carry Nichia for CRI. 219c does not yet exist in 90+ at 4500
We are also starting to change priorities over to 4000k. All 219c options these rounds will be 4000k.

I thought that it was Al. One can tell by the color of the metal. Its a "whiter" silver than Ti. The finish achieved in the photo is very nice indeed.

It looks like the tube is made in three parts (bezel, LE fitting, battery tube) .... Might you consider Ti / Cu / Ti ?

Perhaps it could help with heat management, and it would look cool too

Super practical design, titanium for durability, and hidden within its protection, unparalleled heat transfer of copper.

I've applied a more satin finish to my Al Boss 70 now:-

I wouldn't actually consider it unfinished.

    Thank you.

The fact that its relatively simple to renew or alter the finish on raw Aluminium could be considered to be one of its advantages.

Yes and yes. The main features of the new finish are that its brighter and reproducibly faster.
So if dudes like it we wont have the scale problems as with the original.

The original Patina is still my favorite but the tumbled looks great!

Mine too, and I hope I can get my hands on one someday down the road. Apparently it'll have to come from the MarketPlace.

So if you could get a plain aluminum BOSS of any variety, would you be interested? Thought I'd post a little poll. I tell you, Oveready/Torchlab has set the standard for years to come, and although people naturally have preferences in finishes, this light is the best out there IN ANY FINISH! Along with unparalleled customer service from Torchlabs!
If it makes it less expensive absolutely.
