I have an 18 volt NI-MH battery pack that has gone bad. Wiring has in parallel 2 sets of 6 batteries, which should come out to 3v per battery. I am having a hard time finding replacement batteries as they are physically the size of a AA flat top, but they are all 1.2v. Even if I did all 12 batteries in series, it would only produce 14.4v. The battery pack has the batteries lines up 2 the long way x 2 x 3.

Thanks in advance for any help:thinking:

If in your 18V pack are only a total of 12 cells, then this is certainly real only a 14.4V pack. So you can install normal NiMh AA cells or LSD cells with soldering tags as a replacement.
In the case of low-cost products, the technical data are often exaggerated. Since someone has expected with 1.5V per cell.
