Been looking for a cheap charger that would charge 4.35v Lion's, found some cheap ones, Nitecore New 12 - 120v 2bay and LiitoKala single bay USB type. I ordered both and hope they do a proper job charging 4.35v 18650 laptop cells I have laying around, will report back after they make they make it over the big pond and get a few charge/discharge cycles logged. Has anyone used the new Nitecore or the other one? Both are adjustable 1.2 to 4.35v, will be interesting
to compare 18650s charged at their full voltage to being charged at 4.2v.

I have not but I use the internal 4.2/4.35/3.7v "secret switch" on the Opus BT-C3100 frequently. I expect it should work as advertised, just using a different reference voltage in the comparitor circuit that detects full voltage.

A couple of months back, I bought two of the Liitokala 100s and two of the 202s and they all work well. The two 100s seem to slightly (4.22v-4.23v) over charge, but within specs and the two 202s seem to undercharge (4.18v-4.19v) slightly and that goes for my 4.35v LG D1s and E1s.

I bought two Liilokala 100's (they sent me 3) and all three charge to 4.23v. This is actually refreshing since so many other chargers undercharge.

Yeah, I don't mind because as you say, many chargers slightly undercharge, but then my buzz gets killed when I break out the 202s.

I guess they balance each other out?

My Xtar XP1 Hummingbird is probably my most consistent charger, 9.5/10, any cell is at 4.20 a few minutes off the charger.
