I have a Streamlight Stinger that I converted to LED with a Terralux kit. I also upgrade the battery to NiMH and use a slow charger. I light typically sits in one of my vehicles and rarely gets used. How often should I charge it? When I do charge it, how long should I leave it on the slow charger?

Depending on your light, your choice of NiMH batteries and parasitic drain, you can probably use that new digital multi meter that you recently bought and check the voltage every month and see what you see?

1.25v and I'm charging things back up.

Get Eneloops, either Standard 2000mAh, or high-caps 2450mAh batteries, or comparable and then an analyzing smart charger, like a Maha C9000, Opus 3100/3400, or Liitokala 500.
