Thread: Tiger Head flashlights

    Default Tiger Head flashlights

I just received this Tiger Head flashlight that I ordered online. I think it's a copy of an old American flashlight but I'm not sure. It was sold as new old stock. It takes D batteries and reminds me of flashlights that were around when I was a kid so I think it's pretty cool. It's also all metal and I think the lens is glass. Anyway, I thought I'd share some photos here.

    Thanks for sharing.

Looks similar to the 555 brand flashlights.
Best I can tell these were 1980's lights when the Chinese were starting to produce decent quality in things destined for America and Europe.

In 1980's and 90's, tiger head brand were really popular in China. There were another brand, Panda, almost the same.

    Use C batteries or D batteries, 2 or 3.
