The discharge curves di it track perfectly, but fairly well and the cell can handle 10A, it can even deliver 15A, but the output voltage drops significantly.

Conclusion

This looks like a new generation LiIon chemistry for this type of cell.
The performance is much better than all other 18350 I have tested to date, but the specifications are a bit optimistic.

Nice, been waiting for the review for these. Should be great for the smaller quads like Astrolux S41/S42 and Manker E14/mk2.

What does INR stand for?

It is part of IEC naming for batteries:
IC: LiIon (Lithium cobalt)
IF: LiIon (Lithium iron phosphate)
IN: LiIon (Lithium nickel)
IM: LiIon (Lithium manganese)

And R means round cell.

But not all manufacturer follows this standard and may use these letters because they believe it will sell more batteries.

Thanks for another great review with very exciting results!

I picked up 5 of these with a special unexpected free shipping!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,5 were cheaper than 4 and only a few cents more than 3 of them.:D

This is the site. It is in China. a glitch[?] in the system when picking epacket shipping gets a discount,,,at least this morning it still was.

I could not find the batteries on the site. I had to put it in the search box and they came up.

Total price:
5=$20
4=$25.23
3=$19.69
2=$14.15
1=$8.62

I just picked up three of these for my S2+ Ven Special triple XP-L HI. Mountain Electronics has them for under $5 ea., before shipping.

Just to confirm, these cells can be charged in a regular Li-ion charger? (xtar wp2 and olight usb)

Yeah, they're just 3.7v INR chemistry cells, charging up to 4.20v.

I've been playing with my three from Richard at M.E. and there are a few things to point out here.

First is, mine are the newer versions, with "1100mAh" on the wrapper and not '1300mAh' as per HKJ's review. Also, mine don't mention anything about current handling on the wrapper, but they come with a little graphic sheet that shows 'vaping and industrial' usage and current handling with temperature limits.

Other than that, everything looks similar to HKJ's samples. Little cardboard black boxes, a small plastic bag/sleeve and the current handling insert.

Next off, my three Aspire 1100s came with standing voltages of 3.81v-3.83v, so a bit higher than the typical 3.6v-3.7v we might see.

Next off, I charged these up on my little Xtar XP1 Hummingbird, which usually charges most new and fresh cells up to 4.20v almost religiously. However, with all three Aspire cells, I was only getting 4.17v-4.18v and then this would drop down to 4.15v-4.16v overnight.

Regardless, I broke out my Opus BT-3400 v. 2.2 the next morning and did a 1A/1000mA discharge on them. I decided that I'd pull them at 3.10v, much like v. 3.1 does, so managed to get all three right at 3.09v. They were still discharging at ~1000mA and #1 was 1135mAh, #2 was 1144mAh and #3 was 1143mAh, so they were all above the 1100mAh level, even at a 3.09v termination point, which tracks pretty well with HKJ's 1A discharge. I probably would have gotten more out of the tank, but then again, the Opus 3100/3400 chargers aren't always showing precise numbers.

Anyhow, I can get about 11-14 minutes at 6A, running the Aspire 1100s in my Ven LD-2 6A Convoy S2+ triple HP-L HI, where my AWT 18350 10A hi-drains will yield about 8-9 minutes, so that all makes sense.

Don't know how long a life they'll have at 6A, but I discharged two down to 3.65v and stuck them in the fridge, for a rainy day.

Thanks, the INR is a new chemistry for me and I wanted to be sure.

My two batteries from Mountain Electronics are the same as yours, 1100mAh on the wrapper.

Thanks for the thorough review. I purchased two in June after reading this review. I am using them in my Jetbeam TC-R1. Very happy with the purchase.

The ones I bought in June are still working well.

Mine are the Older label[1300Mah] which according to Jon from Liionwholesale are exactly the same output as the revised label that he has been selling for a few months.

Here is what my Opus got. It has consistently been 1% to 3% high.

I discharged mine @ .5Amps. HKJ @ .5Amps=1162mah

As you can see my results are Very close to HKJ. My 4 SLOT MEDIAN IS 1140mAh. Again, HKJ=1162mah:thumbsup:
