It appears my last thread was too long to read so trying again. As the title says what works well for you for an edc pocket carried USB rechargeable light with tail click for on/off.

I prefer momentary on but don't require it. It seems that what I am looking for doesn't exist so I think I need to be more flexible.

Take a look at the Coast HP3R, which some ads say comes with an in the charger, plus and outside the light charger, USB, AC and DC chargers for around $60. The official Coast website isn't very helpful.
It can also operate on 2AAA alkaline, if needed.
It has an adjustable focus from spot to flood.
The older reviews say the battery can only be recharged in the light, but new information suggests that it comes with a second battery pack that can be recharged outside of the light.
