Default ADB Reduces Glare From Oncoming Traffic?

Here is a video from Mercedes-Benz showing the features of their "Multibeam LED" headlamps in their latest European market E-Class sedan.

At about 2min32sec there is an animation showing how these (84-LED) headlamps help the Benz driver "avoid glare of oncoming traffic".

How is this reduction of glare from opposing traffic accomplished? The video does not answer my question.

It's not. It's just a poor translation of whatever sentence started out to mean "avoids producing glare for oncoming traffic."
