Default Harvesting 2016-2017 honda Accord LED headlamps

Got my hands on a set of headlights from work, kinda looking for some ideas what I could possibly use them for.

Issues would be it has a large transformer on the back of the headlight assembly..

More details would help. Are you looking to repurpose the whole unit as is OR part it out?

Well the units have been removed from service for jerking or whobbling. Internal support issues I assume as this is not first unit.

im just wondering what could be harvested for reuse. Maybe I should start with disassembly and components. Then overview of required ballast to drive the lights.

    Thanks for comments

Sounds like a plan! Pics are always good as well!
As far as uses, I'd say almost anything goes short of using them as headlights on a road vehicle. Lol

Is there a recall notice coming from Honda?

I have heard a lot of reports about the DRL failing prematurely too. Fingers crossed mine don't fail but hopefully if they do they fail under warranty, cause there is no way in the world that I'm gonna shell out 2 grand for some lights that otherwise are working perfectly fine.

As complete headlights they are expensive. The LEDs in them, are really not worth very much.

Yeah, I really can't think of any internal parts or subcomponents that would be worth "harvesting" out of these headlamps.
