Can the Zircon filters handle the maximum output without any visible deterioration?

Considering that M43 max output's 6700lm just for 2mins, after that throttles down by temp sensor, so max output handled by the filter would be at around 3500lm for 15mins, than constant 1800lm. That's a specific filter made for LEDs purpose, anyway if there going to be any any usury, Ill just swap it with a new piece

I've noticed with the normal Lee filters that the ones that have the least transmission tend to warp and seem to melt very easily even when the light itself isn't hot. So I wanted to know if you have tested whether the two layers of Zircon filters show any ill effects after been pumped with the max output repeatedly.

No, there wouldn't be any temp usury as MCPCB max temp's 55įC (measured by IR gun) that still be far below constant 100įC managed by the filter (data reached from manufacture). So there are no curling or other defects. Basically manufacture ran some heat tests on Zircon 806 filter, pre-heating a metal plate in the oven to various temps, then placing the filter onto, so at no point did the filter want to curl up on itself (temp went right up to 175įC).

Lol. There is a point here. I opened this page and didn't know a HDS group buy was what was being discussed. While I'm sure everyone appreciates the Lee filter discussion, and non-HDS beamshots attempting to show a certain color temp, let's get back on track, please. 3000k HDS!!! Rum! Skulls! Campfire!!!

    Will this stay at 3000k?
I prefer 2700k, but I appreciate majority decision.
    Iím still very much interested.

Not sure if I want 2700 or 3000. Either way, pretty sure I need it.

It should be. Hogo said that after the second 5700k run this is the next run. I canít wait for an incandescent HDS Rotary to be in my hands...
