Hi,

i just got the Opus bt-c100. and i have some empty 18650 LiIon Cells i would like to charge.
These are protected cells, witch are sitting at 0V and the charger is displaying null and doing nothing. on my imax b6 i have to go into nimh chargeing to revive these cells. is ther are secret to the opus?

thanks

If it can, I haven't figured out how.

I use a Nitecore UM10 to reset the voltage protection then I move over to the opus to finish the charge.

Most lights I use have a voltage cutoff higher than the battery's so the battery doesn't trip... but when it does, I go to the other charger.

Thank you. I like the Opus but it is to smart for protected cells. It can not do impedance testing on disconnected cells, so it does not know the cell type and does not charge :(

Hi,
I use a working similar battery in parallel with the protected bat to be charged. This will jump start the bat and the Opus will start to work. Once it is starts to charge I remove the jumper bat.
thanks,
