I am looking for. Quality light for my son he is working security and patrols outside and in dark warehouses so he needs something bright and also strong enough and heavy enough to use in a self defense situation. I don't believe he is allowed to carry one with a stun gun type capability. Just a decent sized bright flashlight that can hold up to daily use. I also dont care what type of batteries as long as the other criteria are met.

+1 for the Elzetta Charlie and the Malkoff Hound Dog. I own both and I used to do security patrol. Either one would be bright enough and tough enough.
My concern about the Malkoff Wildcat would be a lack of range when used outside. It is a flood light with a wide beam and short beam distance.
