...for November?

In the German forum, @Moonraker informs us of the Acebeam K65. Basically, the K60 upgraded to XHP70.2 from XHP70.

Quote: "6500 Lumen
1000 m throw
XHP70.2 LED
kein Akku Pack
November verfügbar"

Thanks for the heads up richbuff.

This will be a nice oem upgrade to my all-time favorite light.

Oh well, from super excitement to disappointment all in a pic. Much prefer the k60 format, dont care much either for these large bezel rings.

It has 300m more throw and another hour of run-time at 1700 lumens. Doesn't seem like too bad of an upgrade. I just wonder what the new UI will be like.

What a major dissapointment.

It appears Acebeam has "officially" dropped the control ring UI.

Which is really sad because they went from having the absolute best UI in the industry to the worst.

Exactly what i was thinking
When i saw it i got excited until I saw it is without the control rong
It's so disappointing
If it still had the control ring it would defendly have been my next light

omg.
The best thing on my K60 is the control ring! Why leave it away???

the ring is worth more, than 1200lms+

The deletion of the CR-UI is a complete let down.

But given the K60 is my all-time favorite light, I'll have to cave and give the 65 a try.

If the UI hasn't been improved over the K30/X45/X80, it wont last long though.

I only have experience with the x65 switch and the feel of it is good. It looks similar/same to that, so although not my prefered choice over the ring, I think it will be decent.

Sweet, finally a picture of the new monster!
Would it be possible to show a comparison shot of the two beams on a white wall? Curious if the K65 has a visible X or not.
