New NiMh Actual Capacity - Should These Go Back?

I bought a dozen Panasonic Eneloop Pro, 4th gen via Amazon. Nominal capacity is 2500.

I put them all through a "Charge Refresh" cycle on my new Opus BT-C3100, which runs them through 3 charge+discharge cycles. The Opus reports that about half of them come very close to nominal capacity, at about 2450 mAh. The other half come in from 1750 to 1900 mAh.

Is this typical for new Eneloops, and I can expect better after break-in, or did I get a defective lot which ought to go back? (Or, for that matter, is the Opus V2.2 capacity function unreliable?)

Tnx.

The real question is, do they give the same run times in battery operated electronics? Give them a full charge and use them. If they don't perform then toss them.

Also, check that all your C3100 channels are all good, e.g. switch the low ones into other slots to ensure that one slot is not faulty.
