Well, well, a brand new lounge for 2018!
I just received a couple of 2017 lights back from Vinh. I sent them to get "modernized" with D4 ramping UI, just in time for the new year.
They are my X45vn and TN40vn heat monsters.
The ramping UI gives me infinite control of the balance between power & heat. The max power is the same, but this upgrades the usefulness of these super lights. I love the results! Thanks Vinh!

Damn Alex!!

Have you tried measuring the throw of all three together???

and it looks like the tn42vn90 has a muuch wider spill profile than the GT. For some reason, I was under the impression that the GT had a wider beam profile than the tn42 (I can't recall why I thought that tho...)

---edit---- ok scratch that. I'm an idiot.

This led is now my new favorite led and Idk if that's a good thing as this led is $138 a pop
the good stuff always costs more, havent you figured that out yet ? !!:D
curious, are those pics locked at the same exposure on the first 2 shots ?

curious how the lux numbers will be on your meter, distance , etc
thanks again, makes me want that led in my gt even more now ....

great pics, preciate the effort:thumbsup:

Exact same camera setting on both shots. I measured the tn42vn90 at 837kcd which is less then what vinh measured surprisingly. I measured 1.2m CD on the GT.
