Are Olight X7R flashlights really waterproof at the USB slider cover?

I have heard from people that the Olight X7R lets water in at the USB slider cover.

I have the Olight X7 and it is a great light and I was definitely going to buy the newer X7R but the water ingress possibility is a worry.

Has anyone have any info on this?

The only way there would be water getting in there is if someone submerged the light and didn't dry the tail end off before opening the door. The X7R has been thoroughly tested for waterproofing issues. Definitely just make sure to dry off that end peice when it does get wet so no water around the door can get in there once it's opened up.
