Torchlab V4.0 Triple Nichia reprogram?

I was wondering, is it possible to reprogram a Torchlab V4.0 drop in? It is a H-M-L. Got it as part of a trade, but I do not like it only being able to start in high mode...especially with this drop in as its blinding! Shame as I really like the tint, beam, build other modes etc. etc.

Is it possible (with out specialist equipment).

Only v5 has programability. That can only be what it already is. Your options:

Find someone with a v4 LMH to trade

Find someone who will v5 upgrade it

Sell it and buy an LMH v4 or any v5

I thought so...just wanted to make sure I was not missing something

I am going to try trade it I think, or sell I guess. Not sure what they go for now, not seen many on there own?
