Opus btc3100 v2.2 strange failure

I pulled out my opus for the first time in a few weeks to do a discharge on a few 14500 cells. The last time I used it was discharging some 18650s for a capacity test. Its been sitting in its box since then. When firing up it was completely normal. But when I put the cells in nothing happened. It didnt show voltage or begin charging or acknowledge that a cell was inserted, except slot 4. When putting a cell in slot 4 all slots woke up and said 4.15 volts and changing stuff around didnt do anything. I reset the power and same thing happened. Tried with a nimh and all slots read 2.59 and nothing else happened. If I changed setting and pulled the cell out occasionally slot 2 would still read a voltage which would jump around randomly. First time its acted odd and ive had it for somewhere around a year and a half. Any ideas?
