Been out of the game for a bit, but wanted to get some new AW 17500's for use in my G3 and M3 lights. Can't find them anywhere. I did buy some protected Ultrafire 17500's, but they are too long to use in my G3.

So, have 17500's been abandoned?

As you know, the nn500 cells were popular when one wanted to replace three CR123 primary cells with rechargeable LiIon cells. To my knowledge, there are very few if any three cell in series lights being produced these days. The current lights are either single cell CR123/16350/18350 lights, or lights that use nn650 cells, with some also being able to use two CR123/nn350 cells in series as well. So as archimedes said, there is little if any demand for 17500 cells, so most distributors have stopped carrying them.
