Body and materials
The Lumintop ODF30 is a compact and lightweight flashlight. Inside it hides a 26650 battery and the big and voracious XHP70.2. The thermal regulation system prevents the torch from reaching too high temperatures. If the heat exceeds 55 ° C, the output will be reduced automatically.
The torch is well finished and treated in detail, the materials are of quality and the thicknesses are adequate. In the hand gives a good feeling of robustness and excellent workmanship.
The head has two series of dissipation fins that allow to dissipate the heat produced by XHP70.2 very well.
The Bezel in stainless steel and protects the lens. The lens has anti-reflective treatment, it seems to have a thick thickness and looks good. Lumintop declares a transparency of 99%.
The orange peel reflector provides the torch with diffusion characteristics.
The side switch allows you to control the entire interface thanks to the intelligent UI of the flashlight. It is made of rubber, surrounded by a steel bezel ring, quite protruding, very precise, offers excellent tactile feedback and at the pressure it emits a loud click. Under the power button there is also a led indicator that activates if the cell voltage falls below the 3V threshold.
The central body has a polygonal working with protruding parts that allow to have an excellent grip in any situation. The anodization is well done, perfect on the whole torch, it also helps in the grip.
The threads are anodized so I allow the physical lock out with the classic ¼ turn of the tailcap. They come well lubricated, they are very precise and flowing.
The Tailcap is flat and allows the use of the flashlight in the tailstand. Also this presents a polygonal processing that helps in the grip. Also there is a small ring for inserting the laynard.
At the negative pole we have a special gold-plated tongue that simulates a spring, while at the positive pole we have a golden, sturdy and resistant spring (this allows the use of flat and button cells).
The lettering is really minimal but still well done. We find it only in the head with the company logo (a bunny), the word "Lumintop" and the model of the torch "ODF30".
The company declares the impermeability to 2m depth and a resistance to impact from falls of 1.5m.
In your hand the torch is very comfortable, you hold it well, the button is easily tracked even in full darkness and using gloves.

User Interface
General mode: Low-Med-High (with memory); Hidden mode: Turbo, Eco and Strobe.
①ON/OFF: Single press for on, press and hold for 2 seconds to turn off.
②Output selections: With the light on, click to cycle through Low-Med-High.
③Turbo: With the light on, quick double clicks to enter Turbo, another click will return to previous general mode.
④Eco: When the light is off, press and hold the switch for 2 seconds to enter, another press will cycle through Low-Med-High.
⑤Strobe: Under Eco mode, double quick click the switch to enter, another click to exit.
⑥Lock-out function: When the light is off, press and hold the switch for 4 seconds till flash to enter, loosen the tail cap to unlock if needed. Under lock-out statues, the light can only lighten up on Low until released when press or click the switch.
Beam, Tint e Beamshots
The ODF30 beam is well studied and gives the torch diffusion characteristics. Nevertheless it tends not to disperse in the darkness and to remain focused enough. The shot is good, with its 3500lumen the ODF30 manages to illuminate even over 100 meters away). Lumintop declares 19600cd and 280mt of maximum shooting.
The beam is uniform, does not have particular color changes or artifacts. The color despite being a Cool White (at eye about 6500K) does not mind. Obviously, for personal tastes, it was neutral I would have preferred.
Below you will see some beamshot on the average / long distance. The Eco level has not been taken into consideration given the very low brightness. The distances, for greater accuracy, were calculated using a telemeter.

Conclusion
This Lumintop is one of the smallest, most compact and powerful EDCs with 26650 power I've ever handled. There are many aspects that struck me, first of all the power output (the 3500 lm, although inevitably will tend to decline rapidly over time). Secondly, I was struck by the excellent regulation, as can be seen from the previously reported runtime curves.
The presence of an Eco level of 8 lumens, although not a real firefly level, is always convenient and in this case thanks to the 26650 battery power allows to reach over 250h of runtime.
Perhaps a bit inconvenient access to the Strobo that provides the transition from the Eco level, as well as access to the Turbo only by flashlight on.
I would have preferred direct access to these functions, perhaps with the classic double click for the Turbo and triple click for the Strobo, but these are just details and personal tastes.
I like the beam geometry and I think it particularly usable for different types of scenarios. The tint is a Cool, to eye on 6500K and it do not mind. Personally I feel very satisfied with this new Lumintop. For me Torch promoted!
What do you think about it?
