i have a large quantity of unidirectional TVS diodes i don't want to scrap.
i've been using this arrangement on previous designs with zero issues.
i run the TVS path through a schottky so reversed power is not a problem on the TVS.
my concern is using this design with more sensitive mosfet/zener parts.
will it give adequate protection connected this way?
also, as a general rule, if the TVS is closer to power source, will it catch spikes before they hit sensitive parts farther down the circuit?
