Just got 4 Sony 18650 VTC6 batteries, nicely wrapped. Was curious about their status and had place them in MC-3000 just to check voltage. Well voltage was ok, 3.65V but resistence was on 2 batteries 70mohm and other pair 330ohms!!
Shall i contact dealer or start using them?

Are you sure your IR measurement is accurate? 330 milli-ohms (I presume you meant milli!) is way to high for a new VTC6. It shouldn't be more than about 50 mOhm. It's not going to be a high-drain cell at 330 mOhm.

Well i've used SkyRC MC-3000. Didn't have time to use DMM.
Email sent to a dealer anyhow. My other batteries, Efest 18650IMR 3000mah 2017 have resistance of 38miliohms, double checked 5min ago.
I think it's a bad batch

Not helping your cause now but I would suggest the Vapcell INR 18650 2800mAh 25A. It is a re wrap of the SONY VTC5D. Supposedly the best One out there now with more amp draw than VTC6 and almost as much capacity and slightly better than VTC5A. Not sure of their availability in Europe.

While there's no doubt the VTC5D is a great battery, it may not be a better choice than the VTC6 for a flashlight unless you need really high current. Maybe a modded light from vin would benefit from it, but I don't know of any stock light that needs it. The extra capacity of the VTC6 is probably a better choice. Or for most lights, the Sanyo GA is an even better option, so long as you're not direct-driving the light.

According to Tom E. [in the link that I provided in post #10], he tested Two modded lights and a Stock Emisar D1S. His results w/ the VTC5D were also better w/ the D1S than they were w/ the VTC5A and VTC6.

I think all in all they serve better for modded torches, but here was an example where a Stock light also benefited more when using the VTC5D.

What light, vape mod[?] or other electrical device is OP using the VTC6 batteries for?

He never mentioned it.

I'm using Tana Quad P60, 4.5A drain so almost any battery would do, even better protected ones. The reason i've bought it is because of my new host coming and Vin announced his new Quad with 6A and 12A mode so better be ready...

Unfortunatelly capacity of VTC5D ( Vapcell) and VTC6 is the same.
2800mah, not even 100mah difference.

Update: Arjan from nkon.nl respond to my email within hours. Fast. Anyhow he advised to use 5ohm resistor and DMM to calculate IR just to be sure. Check done, results a bit better. Now 2 batteries have 40-50mohms IR and problematic ones 100-150mohms. Better but still not happy with it.
I'll try to use iz in real world enviroment, high drain flashlight to see how it will behave.

Thanks. I still think sony vtc5a is better than vtc5d in flashlights...

stock lights will be super benefit using any of them.
