Acquired five Magcharger flashlights. My understanding is there are five different switches for the magcharger.
The ones mounted in the five new Magchargers are the newer, black, domed type.
They are the multi-function type.
With fresh batteries I can turn them on and get a very dim light for a few seconds.
I step through the functions and get no light at all.

I own all of the previous versions of the Magcharger.
This switch is different, but the bulbs are the same Halogen 6 Volt two pronged bulbs that the older models have used all along.

What do I have and how do I resolve the issues?
Thank you in advance,

When you say fresh batteries are you using the rechargeable type? Nicads or NiMHs?

I can't speak too much to the switches I haven't really worked on them all that much.

.
I have tried both NiCad and NiMH fully charged.

The batteries work great with all of my other versions of the Magcharger.
The newer style switch is throwing me.
Might call MagLight and talk with their Support team.

Somehow I believe you are far more knowledgable than the on call representative will ultimately be, but you are a vintage collector. Thank you for responding. I will try and research before calling the support center.

Never mind.. Figured it out and re-programed the switches so they are working properly now.
