    Default Re charge of sealed Co2 Lasers

    Hello, has any one attempted to re gas a Co2 laser ?
    ive got all the equipment and a partial sucsess at first attempt, but i only get about 50% rated tube power, any ideas welcome

    You need a very VERY powerful vacuum pump & super pure gas mix & even then it's a crap shoot . Especially on cheaper Chinese tubes.

    Local makerspace just sources new tubes. We've got access to reasonable vacuum pumps and can get industrial gasses, but really just treat the tubes as wear items.
