These batteries have good performance for alkaline.

They do also have good capacity at low current.

Thanks for the review! These are a indeed Home Depot store brand, they are the cells that normally come with Defiant items from home depot, though so far I have not seen the 24 packs in USA as of yet (though I may have missed them).

One thing I noticed on the Defiant batteries is the fairly short expiration dates, they seem to be shorter than the claimed 8-10 years for most other brands of alkalines.
