Diffused lens guve up neligible real life throw but makes tint and beam much better. The ever so slightly donut is gone. Corona to hot spot tint shift is gone too. Just perfect tappered white beam.

Is that DC Fix as the diffuser on the lens in your photo? Always a good recommendation.

Love all the options you made available, thanks Vinh, will likely place an order soon.

Yes. Stock light is so floodyy I didnt bother to measure intensitym. The dc fix didnt take much real life intensity away but adds so much to the beam quality. I love CW but not for head lights. I am building one for Richard so he can use it for work so we will see if I can get 4000k or 5000K to look good. Will update.

I have been using head lamps more than anything recently, still the h2r nw which has a beautiful beam with an edge of warm. Just makes life easier for work, plus its always with me!(on my head lol)

H2R is also a dream headlight. I love it. I might like the H15 a tiny bit more just becuase it has a ring. I have a feeling the H30vn wont allow me opportunities to use the other 2 as much. I enjoy the mule like Samsung twins as much as the main light. :)

Yes, the Samsung's are a very nice touch. A 4k in one and 5k in other would be sweeeet.

I am not a fan of the 5000K Samsung. But May be I will put in a 219c 5000K in the other to see what's up ;-)

Good idea ! How come not a fan of the samy 5k? Off tint? Is that the 90CRI sample? I have no experience with the Samsung's , some I have seen do look nice, especially the 4k flavour. Seen a little off tint 5k, but I think it was the 70CRI. I am going off Comp/phone screen though and not in person, no actual real world experience . I know your 219c 5k are super nice, nicest 219c I have had for sure(triple mule).

Vinh what's the UI like? Were you planning on doing a video review? There's no reviews online yet. Are the switches glove friendly?

Cast your mind back, even a couple of years.., who would have thought that we would have a completely useable, commercially available, HEAD TORCH, that could put out 3400 lumens....? Technology is moving so fast...!!! 😋
