PACKAGING
The KeyCharger arrives in a beautifultransparent plastic box, where you can see the charger and some ofits features and functionality
Inside we find the KeyCharger in ablister and the instructions
CHARGER
This charger is very small and light,it could stay comfortably in the trouser pocket without givingproblems; weighs only gr.31
Following some size comparison withother objects that I owe:
The body is in black plastic material,finished with a "raja skin" style design
At the front we can see the brand andthe name of the charger
The four LEDs that indicate the batterycharge
The avoidance of the USB socket
The negative pole is made up by asilver metal disc fixed on a block of plastic material with thesymbol - (negative) engraved on it, fits perfectly into the positiveone; which is formed by a disk of the same metal with around thesymbols + (positive), fixed at the bottom of a hole, where there aremetal slats at the edges that allow the batteries to get stuck (evenat the negative pole).
The poles are magnetic.
The negative pole is fixed withappropriate rubber reinforcement of the parts most prone to bending,to the body of the KeyCharge (in the side) by a cable made of braidedsynthetic material; really well done and nice to see.
The sides of the charger have the USBinput and a groove that starts from the top (where the USB cablestarts) and continues up to the socket (it enters the millimeterlevel), which serves to perfectly fit the USB cable; which is inblack rubberized material.
Even the Usb is the same material.
On the lower part there are only twogrooves and the hole to connect it to a Lanyard.
UI
The Keycharger's UI is more thansimple, but before giving an explanation, I want to specify that thischarger has both the charging and the discharge function; thereforeit can also be used as PowerBank.
Reload:
To recharge a battery (you can chargeonly 3.7V Li-ion batteries with a capacity of more than 2000 mAh,having the format of 18650, 20700 and 21700), simply insert it withthe positive pole in its housing, and connect also the other pole(magnetic, so it does not give problems and is fixed perfectly).
Once this is done, the LEDs will lightup, indicating the battery charge.
In this case, remove the USB from itshousing and connect it to the power supply or powerbank.
The LEDs will indicate the level of thecharge.
Unload:
To discharge a battery and use theKeyCharger as a powerbank, you must fix a battery in the same waythat you use to recharge it; then remove the USB from its housing,and connect the USB cable of the telephone or other electronicdevices to the socket.

The 4 LEDs indicate both the batterycharge, at which point is the recharge; following these values:
- 1 green LED flashing = Charge lessthan 25%
- 1 green LED fixed and one flashing =Charge between 26% and 49%
- 2 green LEDs fixed and one flashing =Charge between 50% and 74%
- 3 green LEDs fixed and one flashing =Charge between 75% and 99%
- 4 green LEDs fixed = 100% complete /maximum charge
- 4 flashing green LEDs = incorrectlyconnected poles or faulty battery
I would like to point out that theKeycharger has a maximum charge and discharge current at 2A
It also has the ability toautomatically activate batteries at 0 V, has protection againstoverload, over-discharge and against short circuits.
I remind everyone that on this chargeryou can insert and use only 3.7V Li-ion batteries with a highercapacity and 2000 mAh, having the following formats; 18650, 20700 and21700.
TEST
To test the KeyCharger I have rechargedseveral batteries of 2600, 3000 mAh, 3500 mAh:
It recharged the 2600 mAh battery in 2hours starting from a voltage of 3.40 V
One of the 3500 mAh batteries wascharged in 2 hours and 50 minutes, starting from a voltage of 3.17V
All the batteries, once charged, arriveat a voltage of 4.14 V
These are really acceptable times, evenin an emergency.
PERSONAL OPINION
The Folomov KeyCharger is a smallcharger that differ from the classics, both for shape andfunctionality. It is very light and very comfortable to take withyou, it allows you to quickly recharge very capacious batteries, likethe 18650, 20700 or 21700; which usually takes many hours to berecharged.
It is very easy to use and can also beused as PowerBank, in this case; by unloading a battery. which can beuseful in cases of emergency. Just to give an example: My mobilephone turns off just when I need it.
Moreover, as said before, it is verylight and very comfortable to carry with you, not annoying even ifkept in your pocket; you can keep it safely in a bag, backpack orleft in the car.
In short, it is a small charger not tobe missed, it is recommended to anyone who needs to recharge abattery without having excessive bulk, and that, if necessary,becomes a powerbank. Especially for those who go on short trips andneed to stop for a few hours or a few days, for those who go to worketc
I also would like to see a similarcharger supporting other battery formats.
