Re: FS: Malkoff M61_219 DropIn (4500K)

Hi, I am just wondering if you have any further info on this drop in? I am familiar with the V2 but, not this V1. So, it is 4500K instead of 4000K like the V2. What about output and CRI? Any idea what those specs are? Tried to PM but, your inbox may be full. Thanks.

Re: FS: Malkoff M61_219 DropIn (4500K)

The Malkoff M61 219B V2 is a dropin module for P60/D26 style hosts - Surefire P, C, Z, M, G series, Malkoff MD2, and Elzetta ZFL-M60. Made in the USA, these dropins are rock solid, and consist of a solid brass outer heatsink, with a custom reflector designed by famed custom flashlight maker, Don "McGizmo" McLeish.
The "219B" designation is referring to the LED, the sucessor to the popular "219" model released a year ago. It features a Nichia NVSL219B which a typical 93CRI output at 4000K. The dropin output is neutral, and slightlymore neutral than the original 219B based dropin. Exclusive to Illumination Supply.

The input voltage is 3.4- 9 volts. Below 3.4 volts it will drop out of regulation and run direct drive. The output is 225 measured out the front lumens. The current draw is 750mA at 6 volts. The full output runtime is approximately 1.5 hours on two CR123 primary batteries with a nice long taper as voltage drops.

Thanks a lot for the post Tribull but, I am looking for info on this dropin specifically(Not the V2 currently listed on Illumn's site). I am well versed in Malkoff products(including Illumn's Nichia options) and Nichia's nomenclature as well. Specifically I am wondering if this dropin uses the 219A or 219B, what the CRI spec is, what the voltage range is, and the OTF lumen rating is(all assuming it differs from the 4000K V2 dropin currently offered.) Thanks again.

Tachead, the specs would be the same as the V2 except the tint which is 4500K and the LED which I am pretty sure is a 219B. I will check through my emails to see if I can verify. If not I will email Gene to see if he can confirm the details.

I'll take it.

PM sent.

On edit: I didn't see a sent PM in my outbox so I sent another one. Don't see that one in my outbox either. Maybe you could send me a PM and that would work. Or just email me at my user name (plus) @gmail.com.

Thanks and I apologize for the confusion.
