    Default Test/review of Nitecore IMR18650 3100mAh (Yellow) 2018

    Nitecore IMR18650 3100mAh (Yellow) 2018

    Official specifications:
    • Capacity: 3100mAh
    • Voltage: 3.7V
    • Chemistry: IMR
    • Recharge: up to 500 cycles
    • Max pulse discharge: 35A
    • Max continuous discharge: 20A

This is a high current and high capacity cell from Nitecore in the usual 18650 size.

The discharge curves tracks nicely, but the cell get rather hot at 20A, I stopped the discharge. The B cell helped with that, the internal protection tripped and I could not do any more tests.

    Conclusion

The cell is good, it can deliver 15A continuous and a lot more for a shorter time.

    Notes and links
