Charger and tester w/ USB output

I plan to harvest 18650 cells from laptop battery packs by digging through various e-recycling and battery disposal bins. Overall, my goal is to have a supply of cells in reasonable condition that I can use to charge my phone.


I figured that having one device that does it all will keep things simple. So far, I've found two chargers/testers that also have USB output:

• XTAR DRAGON VP4 Plus
• LiitoKala Engineer Lii-500

Does anyone have experience with these chargers (and in particular, the USB output/powerbank feature)? Are there other chargers/testers that I should be looking at?

I would skip both of those and buy the SkyRC MC3000.

I love the MC3000 and still use it daily.

I have two Dragons and use them daily. Good solid chargers and i find the USB output invaluable. They haven't put a foot wrong in about 9 months.

Is that the Xtar vp4 dragon? That's what I have.
