Not exactly Chicagoland, but not too far away. Rochelle, Il about 20 miles or so directly south of Rockford on I-39 at I-88. I got to Chicago for work quite a bit, though. In fact I was just there today, 1100 block of South Indiana Ave.

Spent the first 6 years of my life in Evanston, then the rest until I left for college in the northern suburb of Lake Bluff. So close to the Great Lakes Navel Training Center that you could hear revile from my backyard in the morning [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
Chicago is a FANTASTIC city. Still get back to visit periodically as my dad still lives in the area and I have lots of friends and other relatives there.
