M3 HOLA and Pila\'s????

Will I have any problem running the HOLA with the pila batteries? I currently run the M3 LOLA without any problems.

Thanks

Re: M3 HOLA and Pila\'s????

Good question,
i run the LOLA too, but don't use the HOLA in my M3.
the Pila lamp assembly in the Gl4R draws 1,27 A,
the MN10 a little less, about 1,1 A,
but the MN 11 draws 2,45 A, and i read somewhere that such high loads shorten the life of the LiIon cells.
and it is too bright most of the time /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've never had any problems with it. If fact, I can't remember if my M3 has ever seen 123's.

Re: M3 HOLA and Pila\'s????

I have just recently made a runtime test with M3/HOLA and PILA's.
I switched the light off every 7 Minutes and gave it a chance to cool down to normal ambient temperatures. Doing so the light kept working for 20,26 Minutes... Then it suddenly went of like someone switched it off.
After several minutes of cooling the light worked for short orientation bursts. Surely not with HOLA Power...
