A very unusual post for a flashlight forum but with the immense collective knowledge here, someone must know the answer /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

We're finally getting some nice sunny weather here in England and while sitting in my garden enjoying a cold beer I have seen a few beetles walking around that I don't recognize or recall seeing in the past.

Here's a pic:

Anyone know what type of beetle my new visitors are ?

Shield bugs lack mouthparts and have an articulating, piercing, uh, proboscis (?) that they suck plant juices and the occasional unwary insect's innards with.

EDIT - "subject + predicate")
