I would say that if you don't already have a charger for NiMH AA's go to the nearest Wal-Mart/Target and find one cheap, then just use a small section of spring small enough in diameter to mate with the battery and clip it short enough to make up the length difference. If you only have one cell though, I don't know if it's safe to charge alongside an AA.

Any advice on the "cheapest" way to get the battery charged? I guess I will need to buy the N-cell adapter from TnC and maybe an extra battery, but what about a charger? Will any charger work or should I look for something special. The only other charger that I will have --- hopefully soon -- will be for Pilas.

Any charger that can charge AA nmh will work. You need to purchase the adapter or simply cut a small section of 1/4in copper tubing. Been working great for me charging up N-cells.
These lights are already made. I am just waiting for the converters to come in. They should be here by friday. If they come in I will be putting them on the site.
No! You don't want to know. They didn't arrive. It is Saturday now and they won't deliver to us today since there have been people breaking into the Mail Boxes and steeling checks out of them. So the Postal won't deliver on Saturdays anymore.
I will start to put the ones I have on the site today but I am not sure If I will be taking pre-orders for them. You will have to check out my site to see if you can get them before the converters actually arrive.
Ordered a hard anodized natural, as well as an extra battery and 2 adapters (since all my chargers only charge 2x batteries at once). Can't wait to get it.
Ok. I am sure there are still some left. Tomorrow morning I will empty some shopping Carts. Then we will see how many are still left. People put them in their shopping baskets and then just log off. They stay there until I emptly the carts. I always give it a day just incase people are waiting to get home to finish the purchase.
Let me try this again in English.
There are currently three rechargables N-cells, and three adaptors to AA, and 19 Hyper Lux V's with blemish. (Blemish is the anodizing doesn't match perfectly, see picture on site.)
Balrog, I hope you are paying attention for that adaptor.
Now that I have ordered this light, anyone know of anything about the same size, but much brighter or with better throw?
I would certainly appreciate a luxeon AAA replacement for my crappy Solitaire . I'm curious to know why this light is being offered in 'N' cell at all? The AAA must yeild more run-time and I find that a longer light is sometimes much easier to hold and manipulate than my teeny tiny lights. So, yea! I vote AAA Keylux.

Chris,
Do you have any plans of selling AAA bodies for these lights or selling separate AAA lights in addition to the 'N' and 'AA's?
Primarily, size, I think. With a AAA battery these units would be larger (AFAIK) than an Arc AAA because the Luxeon head takes up more space.
Also, re: runtime, the "N" NiMH is 500mAh, and a AAA NiMH is 800mAh, so I'm not sure that's worth it for the increase in size, but that's just my opinion.
