This light also has a two stage switch that isn't used in the stock light. I modded it for a high and low beam!
If anyone was a nice 3W 3AAA with very good throw, I'd be glad to mod for someone!

I have that light and never use it. It has the ugliest green Luxeon I have ever seen. Geez, my wife won't even use it because of the icky green color. If only I could get that star out of the head of the light I know I could make it good. But the emitter is stuck in with a reverse hex space/heat sink and it won't budge.

Update: The mod was completed and it worked great with a low/high switch. The mod worked so well it became 4sevens' group build. What a fun build it was to experience.
