I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I found
a way to lock out the ARC4 from being turned on.

Just turn the middle thread 180 degrees!

This is probably not an everyday method as it resets your light
but it'll work if you want to pack it into luggage and don't want
it to turn on! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

For luggage, there is sorta a lockout mode which is the "Button Lock" mode on advanced settings right. When the button is depressed it just flash twice and stays off whether the button remains pressed down or is released and pressed again. You need a triple click to turn off the mode, rather low chance of a triple click occuring from bumps in a luggage, even then, a triple click just turn off the mode, and the light stays off.

Turning the middle tread sounds like a simpler solution to me since it's really not fun going thro the 10 clicks and then finding the right flashes since I don't have one of those "user guide cards" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the tip!
