My Garrity Nichia LED light has an odd color...

Wide-angle 5mm white LEDs from Nichia can have a white center and a bluish ring outside that; I've seen just one that had a distinctly purplish-blue outer ring.

I have one of those new 3AAA 2 LED headlamps from Garrity. One LED was white while the other had a very yellow green tint to it. It wasn't as bright as the whiter one and most of the light comes from the good LED. It could be that they had mixed lots of those 5mms.
