I want to mod a small aluminum flashlight for my Father-in-law for when he is hunting and has to track a deer he can use this. What would be the best bin for this?

I don't think that blood fluoresces at all, or at least not in a way you would expect or desire. Depending on oxidation state, its peak transmittance spectra can be in the range of 660 nm (red) for oxygenated blood.

I believe hunters use blue lights so that blood shows up black... Blood is fluorescent if mixed with the chemical Luminol and a ultraviolet light is used..

I built a couple of lights for a guy that is a hunting guide up in Alaska. If I remember correctly, I used Royal Blue luxeons, and that was the purpose that he had me build them for.
