(snide) COMMENTS
  • Good price/performance ratio - light is durable, functional, and cheap!
  • Disgusting blue/brown tint - borderline useless light in some situations
  • Average to shoddy build quality
  • O-ring seals throughout
  • Suggested use: backup light

I agree with all of these points. In a pinch, you can use it as a night light for children during a power failure. It'll work for a long time with diminishing brightness on one AA cell.

You could also throw a single lithium AA cell in it and use it as a backup light in your car. Not great brightness, but a heck of a lot better than nothing at all. Great runtime.
