a very serious question...

I have a keychain laser that uses 3 lr44 batterys but its working with a ac/dc adaptor (regulated) and its output is 3 volts at 600 ma...is it too much ampers for a laser that should run at 4.5 volts?it is running for several weeks.My question is:for a keychain laser,what is the correct ac/adaptor?

I think you are already using the correct AC adapter. I would not change a thing. If the laser pointer lases and does not get hot, you should be in good shape.
No guarantees here, but you SHOULD be alright.

I thought generally Keychain = Red, but I could be completely wrong. Just a thought?

sadly its red my friends...here in Portugal is very difficult to find green laser pointers (130 Euros or (more or less) 160 US dolar)
