I think 2 of these would fit into a thor with a little
bit of work.(wired in parallel)

2 of them would be 1.06 inch longer and a quarter of an inch wider.

removing the metal hoop thingie in the battery compartment
almost gives up a quarter inch of width.

the battery door could give up half an inch(if necessary)
to get the 1 inch of length needed.

10 amp hours at 12 volts and 2 of them together should have lower internal cell resistance losses than the 7 amp battery because each battery only supplies 1/2 of the current.

there is a 9 amp battery that is the same size as the 7 amp battery but I think it has a higher internal cell resistance - a no no for the boosted thor.

I got a helios 9 amp hour battery for my thor today.

18 bucks or so at target.com - 23 bucks shipped.

It weighs 8/10 of a pound more than a stock thor battery.
the connection terminals are a little wider and thicker.
so if you get one you will have to put different connectors on your thor.
I think it might have lower internal resistance than the original battery.
I also soldered the fuse in to the positive wire.

I'm surprised Target sells something like this. Do they have them at local stores?

I think it's 13 point something. I've seen 13.5 to 13.8. My automatic charger uses 13.3.

I suppose if you are using the float voltage to charge the battery then the higher the voltage the faster it gets the job done. My automatic charger only uses the float voltage for maintenance purposes.

Most manufacturers recommend 13.6-13.9v with gelcells. For more info try Panasonic battery site.
