Oops.

Well again, The LED Museum keeps me from spending money on something I don't want and displays an excellent review format to help me figure out what I do want.

I had 2 of the Extremes. The LED on both went into fast strobing after about 30 minutes of use. I think it was reasonably bright when focused. The second one was a free replacement from C. Crane. Two failures in a row, turned me away from the product, and tektite.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I wonder if there was a bum batch of LEDs that ended up in Tektite's bag or something. I've run a couple of sets of batteries through the light for burn-time tests and mine didn't do this. Just to be sure, I'll run a third set through it and keep an eye on it. That is, when I *find* it.
