"LED Club" Photon style keytorch

I have just acquired this amazingly bright photon-like Keychain torch from Pricegate in Groby for £1! For such a tiny device it is incredibly BRIGHT! Estimated brightness... about 17000mcd! This one has a blue LED, but it is available in all common LED colours. The torch is powered from 2 2016 lithium button cells which are replaceable! I would reckon that to get the sort of brightness out of a single LED it's being severely overdriven. It's a practical little torch although I would prefer to tie it to a lanyard around my neck rather than have it on my keys.
It is the sort of torch that is so llight you weouldn't know you've got it!

It looks like the LEO1 pictured. Great little torch for the money! How do they manufacture them so well so cheaply?? The LED alone would cost at least a pound here in the UK!

I think Pricegate Groby still have them really cheap! £1! It was I that suggested to the proprietor that LED torches would be a good seller!
If he's selling them for a quid-a-piece, how much is he buying them for?

I have the blue one. It is probably the same brightness as a photon, but probably twice as big (in volume).
