thanks to all of you for helping me out on this.

by the way my Wolfe-Eyes Dragon I arrived. Now I am going outside in the dark to play. Does anyone know if they make a infared filter so I can use it with my LITTON-ANVIS night vision goggles /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/broke.gif

Hello Andreas,

The only thing you are missing is the two stage tail cap (Mc2ES).

The infrared filter for the Dragon I runs around $84. I am looking for a more reasonable solution.

Andreas - if you want to go with a rechargeable Pila battery, the one you want is "168S". I highly recommend it, because "free" light is good. The batteries and charger are costy, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

best regards.

I'm honestly not so sure if I would recommend rechargeables for this setup because it would likely be running in direct drive. I have something similar, a PR-T with DB917 and TW0L Luxeon 3, and a rechargeable lithium ion (be it 18650 or one of JSB's R123) delivers just 500mA to the LED, being considerably dimmer.

I use 2x JSB R123s (8.4V nominal) so that the DB converter works properly and powers the light as intended.
