Does anyone offer a 1xAA or 1xAAA keychain laser?

Nope, laser diodes require at least 2.5 volts to operate. 1x any non-lithium battery will not produce the required voltage.

Aren't there any boost circuits for laser LEDs like for Luxeon LEDs?

No boost circuits, sorry. These things have specific tolerances that amp adjustments like that would far exceed the operational parameters.

I believe the diode red lasers have far lower voltage requirements than 2.5V though I will check and get back to you.

The problem with most red keychain lasers is that their "regulation circuit" is simply a resistor that does a current/voltage drop from the LM44 button cell batteries. An AA battery system would require a beefier circuit to hold back the amperage the battery is capable of providing.

Couldn't you make yourself one with a Mag Solitaire and using a module off of eBay direct driven off of a 3.7 LiON cell? I just made one using a minimag knockoff. There are currently many modules available including 650nm 5mW, 635nm 5mW, 650nm 10mW and even 635nm 10mW.
