Haven't been there but from what I've seen it seems a modern & vibrant city with quite a lot of foreigners working there.

A close friend of mine got back from there a few months ago. Food is quite costly there (at least for us although currency exchange rate is almost similar).
flashlight is right, a lot of foreigners working there, mostly Indians. The locals are way too rich or way too poor.
